"What we learn is relevant...we talk about something and within a couple of days we see something on TV about it or read about it on a news website."
–Zach DeLong

The Business and Leadership Studies program provides students the opportunity to learn and practice skills needed to organize and manage a business. They examine theory and explore practical application of day-to-day management, promotion and legal concerns. Students will use technology to develop business processes, build and analyze strategy, and explore ethical best practices in the changing world of business.
A variety of projects encompassing emerging technology trends, digital ethics and e-business concepts allow students to see where small enterprise fits in today's global society.
Program completers may decide to pursue post-secondary education to study one of the traditionally recognized business-related career areas:
Students should have a solid grasp of written and spoken language and basic computer and mathematical skills. Accounting would be a good complement to the Business and Leadership Studies program.
Program compleeters may earn 3 to 6 dual enrollment credits through the Community College of Vermont. Dual enrollment credits are transcripted college credits that most universities and colleges will accept as transfer credits.
